Role Description

The Area Manager will oversee day-to-day operations and ensure the successful implementation of DRF’s programs in the Armoor region. Responsibilities include planning, coordinating, and monitoring program activities, managing on-ground teams, building relationships with stakeholders, and ensuring operational efficiency. The Area Manager will also ensure the alignment of program objectives with organizational goals and produce periodic reports. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Armoor.

Qualifications

  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Proficiency in planning, coordinating, and monitoring operational activities
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management abilities
  • Problem-solving mindset with the ability to address challenges effectively
  • Prior experience in program implementation, preferably in the not-for-profit or social impact sector
  • Proficiency in using technology and tools for documentation and reporting
  • Relevant academic qualifications, such as a degree in Social Work, Management, or a related field
  • Familiarity with the socio-economic challenges faced by low-income and rural communities
  • Willingness to work on-site in Armoor with occasional travel based on program needs
