Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Area Manager based in Chennai. The Area Manager will oversee the development and execution of strategic sales and distribution initiatives within the assigned region. Responsibilities include managing insurance consultants, ensuring achievement of sales targets, driving business growth, monitoring market trends, and maintaining customer satisfaction. Additionally, the role involves cultivating strong relationships with partners and stakeholders, analyzing performance data, and ensuring operational compliance with company policies.
Qualifications
- Strong leadership and team management skills with experience in motivating and guiding teams to achieve sales targets.
- Proficiency in sales strategies, business planning, and customer relationship management.
- Knowledge of market analysis, competitor assessments, and trend forecasting.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders.
- High-level proficiency in planning, problem-solving, and results-driven decision-making.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- Prior experience in the insurance or financial services industry is an advantage.
- Strong organizational and time management capabilities to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in using digital tools and platforms for analysis, communication, and reporting purposes.
