Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Area Manager – SME Unsecured & Secured Lending based in Ahmedabad. The Area Manager will oversee the unsecured and secured lending portfolio for SME clients, ensuring business growth and adherence to compliance guidelines. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing and driving the sales team, achieving business targets, analyzing market trends, training team members, and fostering relationships with clients and stakeholders.
Key Requirements:
✔ Minimum 5+ years of experience in Secured Lending is mandatory (LAP / Mortgage / Business Loans,Working Capital)
✔ Proven team leadership and team building experience
✔ Strong exposure to Direct Sourcing, Connector & DSA network management
✔ Good local market knowledge of Ahmedabad and surrounding areas
✔ Strong market connect with connectors, CA networks and DSAs
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and manage a team of Relationship Managers for sourcing Unsecured Business Loans & Working Capital
• Handhold, mentor and guide the team to improve productivity and sourcing capabilities
• Lead from the front through self-sourcing of business, setting examples for the team
• Build and strengthen DSA and connector networks to drive quality business sourcing
• Work closely with the Cluster Head to achieve business targets for the region
• Ensure portfolio quality and collections management for SMA 0, 1 & 2 accounts
• Recruit, train, and develop RMs to build a strong high-performing team.
