Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site position based in Nagpur for an Area Collections Manager. The role involves overseeing and managing collection activities within the assigned area to minimize overdue accounts and reduce delinquency rates. Key responsibilities include formulating collection strategies, setting and achieving collection targets, monitoring and training collection teams, resolving customer disputes, ensuring compliance with company policies, and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders. The Area Collections Manager will analyze performance metrics, prepare detailed reports, and implement strategies to enhance collections and recoveries within the designated area.

Qualifications

  • Strong experience in collections management, including ability to analyze delinquency trends and develop recovery strategies.
  • Proficiency in team management, training, and motivating personnel towards achieving collection goals.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to manage stakeholder relationships and resolve customer disputes effectively.
  • Sound understanding of vehicle financing, housing loans, and other financial products, with knowledge of regulatory compliance.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills to evaluate performance data and devise actionable strategies.
  • Prior experience in a similar role within the finance or banking industry is strongly preferred.
  • Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
