Role Description The Area Collection Head is a full-time, on-site role based in Mudhol, responsible for overseeing and managing collections operations within the assigned area. This role involves developing and implementing collection strategies, monitoring debt recovery performance, and ensuring adherence to company policies and regulatory guidelines. The Area Collection Head will lead and guide collection teams, set performance targets, review field collection activities, and support escalation management for complex cases. The role also includes coordinating with branch staff and finance teams, analyzing collection data, preparing reports, and driving continuous improvement in collection efficiency and portfolio quality.
Qualifications
- Strong expertise in Debt Collection and Collections Management to oversee area-level recovery activities and processes.
- Robust Analytical Skills to assess portfolio performance, identify risk patterns, and recommend corrective actions.
- Proven Team Management capabilities to lead, mentor, and motivate field and back-office collection staff.
- Good understanding of Finance to interpret loan-related data and align collection strategies with business goals.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills for interacting with customers and internal stakeholders.
- Ability to work on-site in Mudhol, with readiness for field visits within the assigned geography.
- Prior experience in NBFC, banking, or microfinance collections is highly desirable.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related discipline preferred.
