Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru for an Area Business Manager. Responsibilities include managing and leading a sales team to achieve regional targets, developing and executing sales plans, identifying new market opportunities, and maintaining strong relationships with healthcare professionals. Additionally, the Area Business Manager will oversee product promotion, provide training and guidance to team members, and ensure consistent compliance with company policies and procedures.
Qualifications
- Sales and Marketing: Demonstrated experience in sales and marketing, territory management, and promoting pharmaceutical products.
- Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills with healthcare professionals and clients.
- Analytical Skills: Proficiency in analyzing sales data, market trends, and competitor activity to identify opportunities and improve performance.
- Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple priorities, plan strategically, and meet deadlines effectively.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, Business, or a related field. MBA in Marketing or a related field is an advantage.
- Experience: Prior experience in pharmaceutical sales or healthcare industry in a managerial role is preferred.
- Other Desirable Traits: Adaptability, result-oriented mindset, and a customer-focused approach.
