Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an Area Business Manager located in Cannanore. The Area Business Manager will be responsible for planning and implementing business strategies to meet sales targets and ensure profitability within the assigned region. The role includes managing a team, building and maintaining strong relationships with customers, partners, and stakeholders, conducting regular performance reviews, analyzing market trends, and identifying growth opportunities. The role also requires ensuring compliance with regulatory policies while achieving organizational goals.
Qualifications
- Proven leadership and team management skills, with experience in motivating and directing sales teams.
- Strong business development and relationship management abilities to enhance customer and partner engagement.
- Strategic and analytical thinking skills to monitor market trends, assess performance, and drive growth opportunities.
- Good communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills for maintaining professional relationships with stakeholders.
- Proficiency in sales planning, target setting, and achieving revenue goals.
- Knowledge of the insurance or financial services sector is preferred but not mandatory.
- Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related field. An MBA or equivalent qualification would be an added advantage.
- Willingness to work on-site in Cannanore and travel as needed within the assigned region.
