Role Description
As an Area Business Manager at HDFC Life, you will play a key role in driving business growth in your assigned region. Core responsibilities include managing a team, building and maintaining strong relationships with channel partners, planning and achieving sales targets, identifying and converting new business opportunities, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to design and execute effective sales strategies and ensure compliance with company policies. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Chennai.
Qualifications
- Strong sales and business development skills, including target management and achievement.
- Team management experience, with the ability to guide, mentor, and motivate teams to meet goals.
- Excellent interpersonal skills for building relationships with channel partners and customers.
- Effective communication and presentation skills to convey plans and strategies.
- Strategic planning and analytical abilities to identify new business prospects and market gaps.
- Familiarity with the insurance industry, products, and regulations is highly advantageous.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
- Proactive attitude, organizational skills, and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
