Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an Area Business Manager located in Guwahati. The Area Business Manager will be responsible for driving business growth by overseeing and managing sales operations, identifying and acquiring new business opportunities, and leading a team of sales professionals. The role involves building and maintaining relationships with customers and stakeholders, ensuring sales targets are met, and devising effective sales strategies. Regular performance analysis, reporting, and team development will also be key aspects of this position.
Qualifications
- Sales and Business Development: Proven experience in driving sales, identifying new business opportunities, and achieving sales targets.
- Team Building and Leadership: Strong leadership, team management, and motivational skills to drive performance and engage team members effectively.
- Relationship Management: Proficiency in building and maintaining professional relationships with customers and stakeholders.
- Strategic Planning: Ability to devise and implement effective sales strategies to achieve organizational goals.
- Data Analysis and Reporting: Competence in analyzing performance metrics to prepare detailed reports and business plans.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact and negotiate with diverse stakeholders.
- Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field. MBA or equivalent qualification is an advantage.
- Work Experience: Relevant experience in sales or business management, preferably within the insurance or financial industry, is highly desirable.
