Role Description
This is a full-time role for an Area Business Manager (ABM) based in Coimbatore, Bengaluru and North Karnataka. The ABM will be responsible for overseeing sales operations, managing and mentoring a team of Medical representatives, and building relationships with healthcare professionals. Responsibilities include implementing sales strategies, achieving sales targets, monitoring market trends, and providing insights to drive business growth. The role requires maintaining a strong understanding of the company's products, ensuring customer satisfaction, and identifying opportunities for market expansion.
Qualifications
- Strong sales and negotiation skills, with a proven ability to meet or exceed targets.
- Experience: minimum of 1 year as Frontline Manager in pharmaceutical sales, or 3 years experience as Medical Rep with successful track record, aspiring to become ABM
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for building and maintaining client relationships.
- Knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry is preferred.
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills to analyze market trends and develop effective sales strategies.
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
- Willingness to travel within the assigned area as required.
- Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Business Administration, Life Sciences, or a related field; an MBA is a plus.
