Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an Area Business Manager based in Guwahati. The Area Business Manager will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with healthcare professionals and distributors, overseeing daily sales operations, implementing marketing and business development strategies, and tracking performance metrics to achieve sales targets. The role also involves organizing activities to enhance brand visibility, ensuring regional market growth, and coordinating with internal teams to ensure timely product supply and execution.
Qualifications
- Proven sales and business development skills, including territory management and revenue generation capacity.
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with healthcare professionals and distribution partners.
- Knowledge of pharmaceutical industry dynamics, regulatory compliance, and product marketing strategies.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Data analysis and decision-making skills, with the ability to meet and exceed performance targets.
- Hands-on experience with market expansion and brand promotion strategies.
- Prior experience in pharmaceutical sales and marketing, particularly in the healthcare or veterinary segment, is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Pharmacy, Life Sciences, or a related field is preferred.
