Responsibilities Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable Python code Develop backend components to improve responsiveness and overall performance Integrate user-facing elements developed by front-end developers with server-side logic Implement security and data protection solutions Design and implement data storage solutions Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems Contribute to the improvement of the codebase by conducting code reviews Stay informed of new technologies and best practices in backend development Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field Proven work experience (1-8 years) as a Backend Developer Skills Strong grasp of Python programming language Solid experience with Django framework Understanding of server-side templating languages Familiarity with some ORM (Object Relational Mapper) libraries Able to integrate multiple data sources and databases into one system Knowledge of user authentication and authorization between multiple systems, servers, and environments Understanding of fundamental design principles behind a scalable application Familiarity with event-driven programming in Python Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a team Experience with cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure) and CI/CD pipelines (Desirable) Understanding of containerization technologies (e.g., Docker) (Desirable) Knowledge of front-end technologies (e.g., JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3) is a plus (Desirable) Experience with RESTful APIs and service-oriented architecture (SOA) (Desirable)
