Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Architectural Draftsman role based in Mumbai. The Architectural Draftsman will prepare detailed architectural and construction drawings, including plans, sections, elevations, and layouts, in accordance with project requirements and local regulations. The role involves translating design concepts into accurate technical drawings, coordinating with architects, engineers, and project managers, and updating drawings based on design changes and site feedback. Day-to-day tasks include maintaining drawing standards, organizing and managing drawing files, and ensuring that all documentation supports smooth execution during planning and construction phases. The role requires close collaboration with the design and construction teams to meet project timelines and quality standards.
Qualifications
- Strong proficiency in Architectural Drawings and Construction Drawings, with the ability to produce clear, detailed technical documentation.
- Foundational knowledge of Architecture and Planning principles, including building layouts, spatial planning, and compliance with relevant codes.
- Solid Drawing skills, both computer-aided and technical drafting, with attention to accuracy and scale.
- Experience using CAD and related drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit) and familiarity with digital file management.
- Diploma or degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related field from a recognized institution.
- Ability to interpret design briefs, work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams, and manage multiple drawing assignments within deadlines.
- Understanding of construction processes and site coordination; prior experience in real estate or building projects is an advantage.
- Strong organizational skills, meticulous attention to detail, and commitment to maintaining documentation and drawing standards.
