Architect — 1 to 3 Years Experience
Department: Design, Estimation & Client Handling | Full-Time
Location: Kolkata, West Bengal
About the Role
Jadro Steel LLP is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Architect with 1–3 years of experience to join our growing team specialising in Light Gauge Steel Frame (LGSF) construction. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on exposure across the full project lifecycle — from concept design and structural coordination to client-facing sales support, procurement, and site management.
What You'll Do
• Prepare architectural drawings, layouts, floor plans, elevations and 3D visualisations for residential, commercial and industrial LGSF projects.
• Develop design concepts based on client briefs, site conditions and applicable building codes/bye-laws.
• Prepare detailed Bill of Quantities (BOQ), cost estimates and professionally formatted client proposals.
• Serve as a responsive point of contact for clients on technical and design queries throughout the project.
• Coordinate with external structural engineering agencies — share drawings, incorporate inputs and track deliverables.
• Conduct periodic site visits to review progress, verify conformance with drawings and document observations.
• Assist with material requisitions, vendor quotations and procurement coordination.
• Support the sales team with LGSF technical doubt-clearance, comparison documents and client presentations.
What We're Looking For
Technical Skills
• B.Arch degree from any recognised university
• Proficiency in AutoCAD (mandatory); working knowledge of SketchUp / Revit / 3ds Max
• MS Office — Excel (BOQ), Word (reports), PowerPoint (presentations)
• Basic understanding of cost estimation, IS codes and building bye-laws
• Ability to read and interpret structural and MEP drawings
