## Job Overview
Solutionever Technologies is seeking a highly skilled Architectural & Landscape Design Technologist to support residential and light commercial projects for international clients (Canada/US).
This role goes beyond basic drafting. We are looking for someone who can think critically, develop intelligent layouts, and produce professional, construction-ready drawings. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, fast, proactive, and comfortable working in a deadline-driven agency environment.
Strong AI-assisted design capability is mandatory.
## Key Responsibilities
- Develop detailed architectural floor plans and site layouts
- Create landscape design drawings (concept and technical)
- Prepare permit-ready and construction-ready drawing sets
- Produce basic engineering drawings (foundations, structural layouts, sections as directed)
- Convert sketches, PDFs, and concept images into professional CAD files
- Apply US/Canadian drafting standards and measurements (feet & inches)
- Use AI design tools to assist with concept development and workflow efficiency
- Maintain strict layer discipline and organized file structures
- Revise drawings quickly based on structured feedback
- Identify and flag design inconsistencies or buildability concerns
## Required Skills
- Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD (mandatory)
- Strong experience in residential floor plan development
- Experience in landscape design layouts
- Solid understanding of architectural drafting standards
- Familiarity with basic structural/engineering drawings
- Strong understanding of scale, proportions, and buildability
- Demonstrated experience using AI tools in design workflow
- Comfortable working in the imperial measurement system (feet & inches)
- High attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines
## Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Revit or SketchUp
- Experience preparing permit drawings
- Knowledge of Canadian building codes
- Experience with rendering tools (Lumion, Enscape, etc.)
- Prior experience working with North American clients
