Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Architectural Intern role based in Ahmedabad. The intern will support project teams in developing design concepts, preparing drawings, and creating presentations for residential, commercial, and other architectural projects.
Day-to-day responsibilities include assisting with architectural design tasks, drafting plans and elevations, participating in design discussions, and coordinating with senior architects to refine solutions.
The role may also involve basic research, site visits, documentation, and collaborating with consultants to ensure design integration and consistency.
The position offers hands-on exposure to the design process and an opportunity to learn professional standards in a collaborative studio environment.
Qualifications
- Foundational knowledge in Architecture and Architectural Design, with the ability to contribute to concept development and design detailing.
- Strong Communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members, clients, and consultants, both verbally and in writing.
- Understanding of Solution Architecture and Integration as they relate to coordinating design elements, systems, and project requirements.
- Proficiency in relevant design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar) and basic knowledge of building codes and standards.
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Architecture or a closely related field, with a portfolio demonstrating design thinking and technical ability.
- Ability to learn quickly, take feedback constructively, manage time well, and work on-site in a team-oriented studio environment in Ahmedabad.
