Role Description This is a full-time Architectural Intern role in a hybrid work model, based in Vijayawada with some flexibility for work from home. The intern will assist in developing architectural concepts, preparing drawings, and supporting design presentations for residential, commercial, and landscape projects. Daily responsibilities include working on CAD and 3D models, preparing design documentation, coordinating with senior architects, and updating project files. The role also involves researching sustainable materials and technologies, participating in site visits when required, and helping with interior and landscape design detailing. The intern will collaborate closely with the team to ensure design solutions are functional, aesthetically pleasing, and aligned with sustainability goals.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess foundational skills in Architecture and Architectural Design, including drafting, space planning, and conceptual design.
- Candidates should possess strong Communication skills for effective collaboration with teammates, consultants, and clients.
- Candidates should possess basic Solution Architecture and Integration skills to understand how different design elements, systems, and materials work together in a built environment.
- Proficiency in design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar) and familiarity with sustainable design principles is beneficial.
- Current enrollment in or completion of a bachelor’s degree in Architecture or a related field is preferred.
- Attention to detail, willingness to learn, ability to take feedback constructively, and capability to work in a hybrid setting are expected.
