Role Summary
The Associate Manager - Experiential & Activations supports the design and execution of experiential projects by assisting with layouts, visuals, research, and production assets. The role focuses on learning experiential design fundamentals, developing spatial literacy, and delivering accurate, on-time support work.
Key Result Areas (KRAs) / Responsibilities
1. Design Support & Execution
- Assist with layouts, diagrams, mood boards, and visual assets.
- Execute tasks exactly as per direction and brand guidelines.
- Support experience flow diagrams and basic spatial studies.
2. Research & Inspiration
- Collect references, case studies, and visual inspiration.
- Support ideation with visual research and precedent material.
3. Visualization & Presentation Support
- Prepare presentation layouts, boards, and supporting graphics.
- Assist with basic 3D models or views under guidance.
4. Production & Asset Support
- Support preparation of design packs for production and fabrication.
- Organize files, assets, and revisions accurately.
5. Learning & Feedback
- Absorb feedback without defensiveness and apply corrections quickly.
- Learn experiential principles: storytelling, flow, engagement, and scale.
Key Skills
Design Basics
- Basic spatial awareness (layout, proportion, hierarchy)
- Visual research and mood board creation
- Understanding of storytelling in space (learning stage)
Tools
- Adobe Illustrator / Photoshop / InDesign (basic–intermediate)
- SketchUp or Rhino (basic)
- Comfort working with templates and standards
Professional Skills
- Clear communication
- Task tracking and follow-through
- File and asset organization
Experience & Qualifications
- 2–8 years experience or relevant education in design, interiors, architecture, or spatial disciplines
- Portfolio or academic work showing:
- Clean visuals
- Curiosity and learning potential
- Portfolio polish matters less than discipline and intent
