Architectural Draftsman (3–4 Years Experience)
Job Summary
VPCPL is seeking a skilled Architectural Draftsman with 3–4 years of experience to support the design and execution of projects through high-quality, accurate drawings. The candidate will be responsible for preparing detailed *Good for Construction (GFC)* drawings and coordinating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure design intent is accurately translated on site.
Key Responsibilities
• Prepare detailed *GFC drawings* including plans, sections, elevations, and construction details.
• Translate design concepts, sketches, and markups into precise working drawings.
• Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, MEP consultants, and site teams.
• Ensure all drawings comply with applicable codes, standards, and project specifications.
• Review and revise drawings based on consultant and client feedback.
• Maintain drawing registers, version control, and documentation standards.
• Assist in resolving site-related drawing queries and issuing updated drawings.
Required Skills & Qualifications
• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Architecture / Drafting / Civil Engineering.
• 3–4 years of relevant experience in architectural drafting.
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD (mandatory).
• Working knowledge of Revit (preferred but not mandatory).
• Experience in preparing GFC and detailed construction drawings*.
• Good understanding of building construction methods and materials.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Preferred Experience
• Experience working on commercial, institutional, or data centre projects.
• Exposure to coordination with MEP and structural drawings.
• Familiarity with Indian codes and standards (NBC, local regulations).
Soft Skills
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple tasks.
• Proactive approach to problem-solving and teamwork.
