Company Description
Tactus Design Studio is an architecture practice with over a decade of experience in hospitality projects, luxury farmhouses, and context-driven design. The studio focuses on creating environments that feel deeply rooted in place, sensorial, and quietly evocative.
Role Description
1) Drawing Production :
- Prepare detailed architectural and construction drawings based on approved design concepts
- Interpret design briefs and develop plans, elevations, and sections
- Update and revise documentation as projects progress through various design stages
2) Coordination
- Coordinate drawing sets across disciplines — structural, MEP, and landscape — to ensure consistency and clash-free documentation
- Liaise with architects and designers to maintain design intent, accuracy, and compliance with project standards and local regulations
- Communicate and coordinate with site teams and external consultants on drawing-related queries and updates
3) Site & Field Engagement
- Conduct site visits to verify drawing accuracy against on-ground conditions
- Carry out market surveys as needed to inform material and specification decisions
- For turnkey projects, oversee on-site execution to ensure alignment with issued drawings
4) Project & Documentation Management
- Manage drafting timelines to meet project milestones
- Maintain organized, up-to-date drawing files and documentation records
- Support the wider team in delivering high-quality, coordinated project documentation
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Architectural and Construction Drawings, with the ability to produce clear, detailed, and accurate documentation.
- Candidates should possess a solid understanding of Spatial Planning, including building layouts, spatial organization, and basic knowledge of codes and standards.
- Relevant qualifications such as a diploma or degree in Architecture, Architectural Drafting, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Autocad, MS Excel, Word, Powerpoint and 3D Modelling and familiarity with digital file management.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work to deadlines in a studio environment.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with architects, designers, and project stakeholders across various Projects
