Job Summary
We are seeking a qualified and detail-oriented Architectural Draftsman with a minimum of 2 years of relevant professional experience. The ideal candidate will have strong proficiency in AutoCAD and a solid understanding of architectural working drawings. This role requires precision, technical expertise, and the ability to translate design concepts into accurate, coordinated construction drawings in compliance with project requirements and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed architectural drawings including plans, sections, elevations, and construction details.
- Develop and modify working drawings based on design intent and project specifications.
- Ensure drawings are accurate, coordinated, and compliant with applicable building codes and standards.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, and project teams to incorporate design changes and technical inputs.
- Maintain proper drawing documentation and version control throughout the project lifecycle.
- Assist in preparing drawings for approvals, tender submissions, and construction execution.
- Identify and resolve drawing discrepancies with a high level of attention to detail.
- Required Skills & QualificationsMinimum 2 years of professional experience as an Architectural Draftsman.
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD (mandatory).
- Thorough understanding of architectural working drawings and construction documentation.
- Ability to interpret architectural design intent and convert it into technical drawings.
- High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and drafting standards.
- Good coordination and communication skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Preferred Skills (Optional)
- Knowledge of building codes and construction practices.
- Experience working with consultants and site teams.
- Familiarity with additional software such as SketchUp, Revit, or similar tools is an advantage.
