Role Description The Architectural Drafter will support the design team by translating concepts into accurate technical drawings and documentation. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing architectural and construction drawings, developing detailed plans and sections, and updating drawings based on design revisions and site inputs. The role involves coordinating with architects and consultants, ensuring drawings comply with applicable codes, standards, and project requirements. The drafter will also assist in design development, material detailing, and preparing presentation drawings when needed. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Beawar.
Qualifications
- Ability to produce precise Architectural Drawings and Construction Drawings for residential, commercial, and cultural projects.
- Solid understanding of Architecture and Planning principles, including spatial layout, circulation, and functional zoning.
- Strong Drawing skills for conceptual sketches, detailing, and visual communication of design ideas.
- Proficiency in CAD and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, or similar) and familiarity with 2D/3D visualization tools.
- Knowledge of building materials, basic structural systems, and local building codes and standards.
- Diploma or degree in Architecture, Architectural Drafting, or a related field.
- Attention to detail, ability to follow design guidelines, and readiness to incorporate feedback from the design team.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate in a studio environment and on active project sites.
