Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Architectural Drafter role based in Ahmedabad. The Architectural Drafter will prepare detailed architectural and construction drawings, including plans, sections, elevations, and layouts based on design concepts provided by architects and designers. Responsibilities include updating drawings as designs evolve, coordinating details with the project team, and ensuring documents comply with standards, codes, and project requirements. The role involves translating sketches and design briefs into precise technical drawings, maintaining organized drawing sets, and supporting planning and construction documentation.
Qualifications
- Strong proficiency in Architectural Drawings and Construction Drawings, with the ability to produce accurate, detailed technical documentation.
- Foundational knowledge of Architecture and Planning to understand design intent, space utilization, and regulatory considerations.
- Solid Drawing skills, including the ability to interpret and refine design sketches into clear, buildable plans.
- Experience with CAD and familiarity with local building codes and standards.
- Diploma or degree in Architecture, Architectural Drafting, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong attention to detail, time management skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in an office-based team environment.
- Good communication skills for coordinating with architects, engineers, and project managers; experience in residential, mixed use and institutional building is a plus.
