Job details:
Company Description Wandering Walls is a design-forward architectural firm that embraces creativity, innovation, and adaptability in every project. The practice is driven by exploration beyond conventional norms, drawing inspiration from diverse sources and unseen dimensions of space and meaning. By reimagining the idea of “walls” as dynamic and flexible, the firm promotes fluid, boundary-breaking approaches to architectural principles. Mystery and curiosity are core to the design process, encouraging experimentation and discovery of new possibilities. This philosophy creates a studio environment that values versatility, thoughtful storytelling, and bold design thinking.
Role Description The Architectural Designer will contribute to the full design process, from initial concept development to detailed construction documentation, for a variety of projects. Day-to-day tasks include preparing architectural drawings, 3D models, and presentations; refining design concepts in collaboration with senior team members; and coordinating with consultants to ensure design integrity and feasibility. The role involves translating abstract ideas into functional, aesthetically compelling spaces, conducting site studies, and supporting urban and spatial planning considerations where relevant. The designer will also assist in material research, design reviews, and maintaining project documentation and standards. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru, requiring close collaboration with the studio team and active participation in internal critiques and client meetings.
