Role Description The Architect / Sr Architect role is a full-time, on-site position based in India. The role involves developing architectural concepts, preparing detailed drawings and specifications, and coordinating architectural design from concept through execution. Daily responsibilities include collaborating with internal teams and external consultants, reviewing design solutions for functionality, aesthetics, and sustainability, and participating in client meetings and presentations. The Architect / Sr Architect will oversee project documentation, support project management activities such as timelines and deliverables, and ensure that designs comply with relevant codes and standards.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Architecture and Architectural Design, with the ability to develop creative, functional, and sustainable solutions.
- Experience with Integration of various building systems and disciplines into cohesive design outcomes.
- Proficiency in Project Management, including coordination, scheduling, and monitoring project progress.
- Familiarity with relevant Software Development concepts as they relate to design tools, BIM, or digital workflows is an advantage.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture from an accredited institution.
- Proficiency in industry-standard design and documentation software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or similar).
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams.
- Demonstrated interest in sustainable design practices and awareness of local building regulations and codes.
- Previous experience in architectural practice, with a portfolio showcasing relevant built or conceptual work.
