Role Description
UST is looking for a
Senior SAP FICO Architect ( Senior Solutions Architect (Tech)). The ideal candidate should have excellent hands-on experience with
SAP FI and CO with a good understanding of
SAP application design. Candidate should have good experience in
business process design for
Finance and Controlling processes. A good understanding of
SAP system architecture is expected. Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to
translate business requirements into system requirements is key to be successful in this role.
Overall Experience level:
At least 15 years of in-depth consulting experience in SAP FICO
As a Senior SAP FICO Architect, you will
- Deliver innovative solutions in business consulting, business process design, application design and system integration supporting SAP Finance and Controlling for customer’s organizations of multi-national corporations.
- Hands-on expertise required in SAP FI and CO with ECC and S/4 HANA.
- Extensive knowledge of Financial business design / configuration.
- Ability to perform all tasks in the development cycle, starting from business strategy, business process definition, to configuration and unit testing, assistance and follow-up with user testing, to co-ordination of transports to Production, to training and post-live support and fixes.
- Hands on experience in Data Migration and conversion activities ranging from end-to-end implementation replication rollout enhancement migration support and maintenance of different versions of SAP Systems.
- Understand the evolving SAP roadmap for S/4 HANA and provide advise to customers in S/4 HANA adoption:
- Thorough knowledge in SAP modules FI - GL, FI – AR, FI – AP, Asset Accounting, CO-PCA, CO-CCA, COPA
- Functional and configuration knowledge of master data, GL, AP, AR, FSCM, Asset accounting and Cash and Bank accounting, automatic payment programs, New GL, Document splitting and profit center accounting (PCA), material ledger, Integration knowledge between FI and other logistics modules (e.g. MM, SD), Core business processes in controlling module, Product cost planning along with integration knowledge with PP, COPA, COPA design, reporting based on costing-based as well as account-based COPA.
- Strong communication skills. Able to discuss business processes with client team in business language, as well as discuss in depth technical issues with development team.
- Serving as trusted advisor to clients to help them meet business needs through innovative solutions.
- Ability to drive/ lead blueprint as well as fit to standard design sessions, configure, test, implement functional requirements and the creation of functional design specs in the area of SAP FICO. Needs to be able to lead client meetings as well as participate in pre-sales activities

- Contribute to high productivity and motivation of working team with the use of your communication skills and cooperation; reach and realize project aims and outputs
Requirements
- Ability to travel to client locations
- Green Card or US Citizenship
- English speaking and writing
- Ability to get security clearance for aerospace/defense
Top 3 Must Have
- At least 15 years of in-depth knowledge and consulting experience in SAP FICO
- CPG or Hi-tech Industry experience
- Ability to plan and confidentially run design sessions with customers
