Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located at VAO’s studio in Mumbai. The Architect will lead and contribute to architectural design projects, manage project lifecycles, and collaborate with team members on innovative and impactful solutions. Responsibilities include conceptualizing and developing architectural designs, ensuring cohesive design language, and overseeing project execution and integration. The Architect will also be expected to participate in meetings, manage client communication, and coordinate with external consultants.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Architecture and Architectural Design, with a strong understanding of design principles and user-centric solutions
- Experience in Project Management, including timelines, resource allocation, and client communication
- Knowledge of Software Development and Integration relevant to architectural processes and tools
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage complex projects effectively
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or related field; a master’s degree is a plus
- Proficiency with architectural design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and 3D modeling tools
- Familiarity with sustainable design practices and knowledge of relevant building codes
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as the ability to collaborate within a team
- Prior experience in high-rise, commercial, or interior design projects is a strong asset
