Point+ Designs is a multidisciplinary design studio specializing in luxury residential and commercial architecture, interiors, and custom furniture design. Based in Noida, the studio combines clarity, purpose, and material integrity to create timeless, thoughtful spaces. Founded by Ar. Akshat Garg, the studio offers end-to-end design and turnkey execution services, supported by an in-house furniture manufacturing unit and a curated furniture studio in Sector 104, Noida. Point+ Designs emphasizes collaboration with clients and developers to create refined, detailed spaces that prioritize longevity, comfort, and aesthetic balance.
Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site internship role for an Architect based in Gurugram. The Architect Intern will assist in the design and development process, working on architectural concepts, technical drawings, space planning, and project presentations. The role includes site visits, project coordination, and contributing to the development of furniture and interior design elements. The intern will support the team in ensuring alignment with the studio’s vision of creating timeless and functional spaces.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in architectural design tools such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Revit
- Graphic/visual software skills, including Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator
- Understanding of building materials, construction techniques, and detailed design processes
- Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and attention to detail
- Effective communication and collaboration skills
- Passion for innovative design and a keen aesthetic sense
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture or related field (ongoing or recently completed)
- Prior experience with furniture or interior design projects is a plus
