Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Architect role based in New Delhi. The Architect will be responsible for developing architectural concepts, preparing detailed drawings, and coordinating design solutions from initial idea through construction documentation. Day-to-day tasks include working closely with project teams, clients, and consultants; ensuring designs comply with local codes, standards, and sustainability requirements; and participating in site visits, reviews, and design presentations. The role involves collaborating with interior designers and planners, managing project timelines and deliverables, and supporting the integration of design with structural, MEP, and other building systems. The Architect will also review technical specifications and contribute to continuous improvement of design processes and tools.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Architecture and Architectural Design, including concept development, space planning, and construction detailing.
- Experience with Project Management, including scheduling, coordination with stakeholders, and tracking deliverables across project phases.
- Ability to collaborate on Integration of architectural design with structural, MEP, and other building systems to ensure cohesive project delivery.
- Comfort working with relevant design and documentation tools; familiarity with Software Development concepts is beneficial when coordinating with technology and BIM teams.
- Proficiency in industry-standard design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite) and strong technical drawing skills.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture from an accredited institution; professional licensure or eligibility is an advantage.
- Knowledge of local building codes, regulations, and permitting processes in India, especially New Delhi.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and in multidisciplinary teams.
- Effective communication skills for presenting design concepts and coordinating with clients, consultants, and contractors.
