M-A Architects is a design-led architectural and planning practice with over 30 years of professional experience, delivering projects across diverse scales and typologies—ranging from institutional campuses, housing, hospitality, and urban master plans to socially responsive and context-driven architecture. Role Overview
We are looking for a motivated and design-oriented Architect (3–5 years experience) to join our growing team. The role offers hands-on exposure to live projects from concept to execution, with opportunities to contribute to design development, documentation, and coordination under the guidance of senior architects.
This position is ideal for individuals eager to learn, add value, and evolve into well-rounded professionals within a structured yet creative studio environment.
Key Roles & Responsibilities
· To deliver highest quality design & drawing portfolio in a timely & efficient manner.
· Assist and contribute to architectural projects across all stages—concept design, design
development, working drawings, and coordination.
· Support senior architects in design exploration, development, and presentation, including early
concept stages.
· Prepare and develop architectural drawings, details, and documentation in line with office
standards and protocols.
· Ensure compliance with statutory regulations, including local development control rules and
National Building Code (NBC).
· Coordinate with internal teams and external consultants (structural, MEP, landscape, etc.) as
required.
· Take ownership of assigned tasks and execute responsibilities independently with periodic
guidance.
· Follow and implement office systems, drawing standards, and documentation procedures.
· Actively participate in internal reviews, discussions, and design critiques.
Software & Technical Skills
· AutoCAD – Advanced proficiency (mandatory).
· SketchUp / Rhino – For 3D modeling and Design Exploration.
· Adobe Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator) – For Presentations & Project Documentation.
· MS Office – Presentation, Documentation and Coordination.
· Knowledge of BIM tools (Revit) is an added advantage.
Desired Profile
· Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture.
· 3–5 years of professional experience in an architectural practice.
· Strong understanding of building construction, materials, and detailing.
· Good design sensibility, graphic skills, and attention to detail.
· Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented studio culture.
· Strong communication skills and a proactive learning mindset.
