Role Description The Architect role at Lotus Environments is a full-time, on-site position based in Panaji. The Architect will be responsible for developing architectural concepts, preparing detailed drawings and design documents, and coordinating with internal teams and external consultants throughout the project lifecycle. Daily activities include site analysis, space planning, reviewing regulatory requirements, and supporting the preparation of permit and construction documentation. The role also involves participating in client meetings, presenting design proposals, and collaborating with project managers to align design intent with budget, timelines, and technical requirements. The Architect will contribute to design reviews, support integration of technical systems, and help ensure that projects meet quality standards and sustainability considerations.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Architecture and Architectural Design, with the ability to translate client requirements into clear, buildable concepts.
- Experience with Integration and Software Development as they relate to architectural workflows, such as BIM tools or design and coordination software.
- Proficiency in Project Management, including planning, coordination of stakeholders, and monitoring timelines and deliverables.
- Knowledge of relevant building codes, regulations, and standards applicable to projects in India.
- Proficiency in industry-standard design and documentation tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or similar software).
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams and interact with clients and consultants.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Architecture from an accredited institution; professional registration or progress toward licensure is an advantage.
- Attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced project environment.
