Job details:
Company Description HALFBRICK Architects (HBA) is a young and rapidly expanding architectural firm based in the city, focused on pushing boundaries in design and practice. The firm emphasizes research and development of new processes and innovative ideas to create meaningful, long-term impact on both architecture and the profession. HBA is committed to delivering sustainable solutions that enhance quality of life rather than compromise it. Applicants joining HBA will be part of a forward-thinking environment that values experimentation, responsibility, and design excellence.
Role Description This is a full-time Architect role in a hybrid work arrangement, based in the Kolkata metropolitan area with some flexibility for work from home. The Architect will participate in concept development, schematic design, and detailed design for residential, commercial, and mixed-use projects, integrating sustainability and functionality in every solution. Daily responsibilities include preparing drawings and 3D models, coordinating with consultants, reviewing technical details, and contributing to design research and documentation. The role involves site visits for assessments, design implementation checks, and collaboration with project teams to ensure adherence to design intent, safety, and local regulations. The Architect will work closely with clients, presenting design options, incorporating feedback, and supporting project delivery from initial brief to completion.
