Job Title: Junior Architect
Role Overview We are looking for a Junior Architect with a minimum of 2 years of experience who can contribute to design development, technical detailing, and project execution. The ideal candidate combines creative thinking with practical knowledge of construction, has exposure to diverse project types, and is eager to take ownership while collaborating with senior architects and project teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop design presentations, layouts, and detailed working drawings
- Collaborate closely with senior architects on live projects across stages
- Take ownership of assigned tasks and drive project progress independently
- Assist in site coordination, vendor communication, and execution processes
- Prepare and coordinate GFC (Good for Construction) and working drawings
- Ensure design intent is maintained through technical accuracy and detailing
- Contribute creative ideas with a strong eye for aesthetics and functionality
- Coordinate with consultants (structural, MEP, etc.) for integrated design solutions
- Maintain documentation and drawing revisions throughout project lifecycle
- Support project timelines and ensure deliverables are met efficiently
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience in an architectural role with exposure to Residential, Institutional, and Commercial projects
- Must be a graduate in Architecture or a related field
- Strong understanding of working drawings, detailing, and construction execution
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Photoshop, and relevant design/visualization tools
- Ability to balance creative design with technical feasibility
- Strong problem-solving and time management skills
- Ability to work on multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- Good communication and collaboration skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Basic knowledge and hands-on exposure to AI tools in design workflows
- Familiarity with BIM tools (Revit or similar) is a plus
- Understanding of materials, construction techniques, and site practices
- Experience in coordination with consultants and contractors
- Interest in sustainable design practices and emerging architectural trends
