Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Architect role based in Mumbai. The Architect will translate client requirements into functional and aesthetic architectural concepts, develop detailed drawings, and coordinate design documentation from concept to construction. Responsibilities include preparing plans, sections, elevations, 3D visualizations, and technical drawings, while ensuring compliance with building codes, standards, and local regulations. The role involves working closely with consultants, contractors, and vendors to resolve design and site-related issues, as well as participating in client meetings and presentations. The Architect will also support project scheduling, cost awareness, and quality control to help deliver projects on time and within scope.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Architecture and Architectural Design, with the ability to develop functional, sustainable, and aesthetically coherent solutions.
- Demonstrated Project Management skills, including planning tasks, coordinating stakeholders, and tracking project milestones.
- Proficiency in architectural design software (such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or similar), and comfort with visualization and presentation tools.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Architecture from an accredited institution; professional licensure or progress toward licensure is preferred.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team and interact confidently with clients and consultants.
- Ability to manage multiple projects or workstreams, prioritize tasks, and maintain attention to detail under deadlines.
- Familiarity with local building codes, zoning regulations, and approval processes in Mumbai or similar urban contexts is beneficial.
