Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Architect role based in Bhubaneswar. The Architect will develop architectural concepts, prepare drawings and detailed designs, and coordinate with structural, MEP, and interior design teams to ensure integrated project solutions. Day-to-day responsibilities include creating 2D and 3D design documentation, assisting with building plan approvals, and supporting site supervision for design implementation and quality checks. The role involves collaborating with project managers on schedules and deliverables, participating in client meetings to understand requirements, and refining designs based on feedback. The Architect will also contribute to design presentations, assist in tender and construction documentation, and support smooth communication between office and site teams.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Architecture and Architectural Design, with the ability to translate client needs into functional, aesthetic, and compliant spaces.
- Proficiency in Project Management for design and construction workflows, including coordination with multidisciplinary teams and adherence to timelines.
- Basic understanding of Software Development and Integration concepts as they relate to design tools, BIM, or collaborative platforms, enabling efficient digital workflows.
- Experience with industry-standard design and visualization software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, 3ds Max, or similar) and familiarity with MEP and structural coordination.
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture from an accredited institution; professional registration or eligibility for registration is an advantage.
- Ability to read and prepare detailed drawings, construction documents, and BOQs, with attention to accuracy and building codes.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with clients, consultants, and site teams.
- Willingness to work on-site in Bhubaneswar, conduct regular site visits, and adapt to a multidisciplinary studio environment focused on design excellence and delivery.
