- Strong expertise in performance tuning, query optimization, and troubleshooting
- Hands-on experience with Azure SQL (PaaS), SQL Server, Oracle, and PostgreSQL
- Strong knowledge of ETL processes and data integration techniques
- Experience with Azure Data Factory (ADF) for data ingestion and transformation
- Expertise in data security, compliance, and governance controls
- Experience managing sensitive data and implementing security best practices
- Strong knowledge of backup, restore, and disaster recovery strategies
- Experience in designing high availability and scalable database solutions
- Skilled in monitoring database performance and resource utilization
- Hands-on experience in automation using scripting (PowerShell or similar)
- Strong experience in incident management, troubleshooting, and RCA
- Exposure to cloud platforms (Azure/AWS)
- Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and large-scale data systems
- Experience in data migration and modernization projects
