Anaplan Consultant - 6 months contract

We are seeking a highly skilled Anaplan Consultant with expertise in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning to join our Dubai team. The ideal candidate will design, develop, and implement Anaplan models that enhance financial decision-making processes. You will collaborate with finance, business operations, and technology teams to optimize planning and forecasting capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain Anaplan models to support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
• Partner with finance and business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into scalable Anaplan solutions.
• Automate data integration between Anaplan and other financial systems (ERP, BI tools, etc.).
• Optimize forecasting accuracy by leveraging best practices in scenario modeling, variance analysis, and rolling forecasts.
• Develop and manage Anaplan dashboards and reports to provide actionable insights.
• Perform model testing, debugging, and performance tuning to ensure data accuracy and system efficiency.
• Train and support business users in Anaplan model usage and best practices.
• Stay up to date with Anaplan’s latest features and recommend improvements to existing models.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in Anaplan model development, preferably in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
• Strong understanding of financial planning, budgeting cycles, variance analysis, and scenario planning.
• Hands-on experience with Anaplan model-building, data integration, and UX optimization.
• Proficiency in Anaplan formulas, functions, and best practices for model efficiency.
• Familiarity with financial data structures and ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Workday, etc.).
• Experience in data integration (ETL tools, APIs, Anaplan Connect, or CloudWorks) is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to work with cross-functional teams.
• Anaplan Certified Model Builder or Solution Architect certification is highly preferred.
