ROLE OVERVIEW

Arches is seeking a dynamic Operations Director to accelerate the growth of our Expert Matching Services. As a key driver of our regional success, you will lead strategic initiatives to grow our business, enhance organizational capabilities, and foster leadership excellence across APAC (China, Indonesia, Vietnam, Singapore, etc.). You will be accountable for the region’s P&L and will play a pivotal role in scaling our operations and impact.


WHAT YOU’LL DO


Drive Growth & Create Value


Account Expansion & Strategic Growth

  • Act as a strategic partner to account managers, guiding cross-functional efforts to meet and exceed regional revenue targets within the budget.
  • Identify high-potential opportunities to deepen client relationships and expand service offerings.
  • Collaborate with sales, marketing, and delivery teams to craft and execute tailored account growth strategies.
  • Leverage data and key performance indicators to monitor account health and optimize engagement plans.


Center of Excellence

  • Lead regional expert matching operations, ensuring excellence in delivery, quality, and client satisfaction.
  • Drive cross-functional alignment to improve project efficiency and ensure outcomes align with client goals.
  • Establish best practices and lead continuous improvement initiatives that increase team productivity and operational scale.


Enhance Leadership & Organizational Effectiveness


Corporate Development & People Leadership

  • Champion talent acquisition and leadership development across the region—interview, hire, and onboard top talent.
  • Approve compensation budgets and workforce planning in alignment with business goals.
  • Take initiative in training programs that strengthen capabilities across all levels of the organization, with a focus on manager-level leadership growth.
  • Implement KPI systems, policy frameworks, and performance management processes that support sustainable growth.
  • Drive cost-effective operations through proactive cost management and strategic resource allocation.


Culture & Change Leadership

  • Promote a culture of performance, collaboration, and innovation.
  • Be a change agent—propose and lead initiatives that transform how we operate and create impact across the organization.
  • Stay current on market trends, best practices, and competitor movements to ensure strategic agility and long-term value creation.


WHAT WE NEED:

A strategic leader who thrives in fast-paced, cross-cultural environments and is passionate about creating meaningful business impact. The ideal candidate will bring a strong track record of driving growth, building high-performing teams, and shaping organizational success.

  • 5+ years of leadership experience in the expert network or professional services industry, with proven P&L responsibility.
  • Demonstrated success in driving client growth and delivering impactful solutions in consulting, client relationship management, or strategic advisory roles.
  • Proven ability to lead, inspire, and scale cross-functional teams of 50+ members across diverse nationalities and cultures in the APAC region.
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and build trust at the executive level.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with a data-informed, outcome-oriented mindset.
  • Deep understanding of the Asian business landscape, especially in consulting, investment, and knowledge services sectors.
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in business, economics, finance, or a related field.
  • Fluency in English is required; proficiency in an additional Asian language is highly valued.
