Role: ArcGIS Enterprise Implementation Engineer

Job Summary:
As an Implementation Engineer, you will play a critical technical role in deploying and maintaining ArcGIS Enterprise environments. Your primary responsibility will be to implement, automate, and support ArcGIS Enterprise deployments across cloud (AWS/Azure) and on-premises environments, while executing seamless data and service migrations.
Must have:
ArcGIS System Implementation:
• End-to-end deploy ArcGIS systems, over cloud (AWS/Azure) and on premises
• Conduct GIS health check assessments by talking to customers, understanding their GIS landscape, their critical workflows, current issues, performance, and devise a comprehensive recommendation plan and roadmap, document, and deliver the assessment report
• Install and configure ArcGIS monitor, creating dashboards and configuring thresholds and alerts
• Advanced proficiency with Python (ArcPy & ArcGIS API for Python) for automation
• Migrate Geospatial data from one ArcGIS system to another
• Implement and manage GIS data storage, backup, and recovery using WebGISDR and cloud-native techniques
• Implement security best practices to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of GIS systems
• Publish ArcGIS Server services such as map services, feature services, etc.
• Author and manage Geospatial data in ArcGIS Pro
• Configure web maps and Experience Builder apps
• Maintain and upgrade the ArcGIS Enterprise systems
• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including DevOps, Operations team, and Support team, to ensure successful project delivery
• Stay up to date with emerging GIS technologies and trends, perform proof of concepts, and present them to the internal teams
GIS AppOps and Technical Support:
• Help resolve issues related to GIS software, such as installation problems and functionality errors.
• Help in resolving Priority 1 (High Criticality) issues, as and when required.
• Guide users on how to perform specific tasks within ArcGIS software, such as creating maps, performing spatial analysis, and managing geospatial data.
• Provide training sessions or workshops to users on how to effectively use GIS tools and applications
Desired Technical Skills:
• 2–3 years of hands-on experience with ArcGIS Enterprise administration
• Experience deploying and managing ArcGIS Enterprise in cloud environments (AWS or Azure)
• Understanding of Windows & Linux (command line) operating systems
• Understanding of cloud computing fundamentals and cloud service providers like AWS and Azure
• Understanding of data migration concepts, tools, and patterns (on-prem to cloud, cloud to cloud, on-prem to on-prem)
• Understanding of SQL and PostgreSQL databases on the cloud and on-premises
• Esri Certified in ArcGIS Enterprise Administration Professional is a plus
Non-Technical Skills:
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Analyze and estimate the tasks
• Adhere to determined software quality standards
