About the role
Arcesium seeks a talented Project Manager to join the Forward deployed PMO team. This person will support Strategic Program Managers by leading and managing complex projects, both client facing and internal project. The successful candidate will be responsible for a variety of critical initiatives that will help the firm achieve its growth and other strategic goals.
What You’ll do:
Implementing products for new, large, and complex enterprise clients
Executing internal strategic projects
Recommending operational improvements to support growth and other internal goals.
Creating, tracking, and coordinating complicated project plans that stay within scope and budget.
Overseeing the creation of deliverables for multiple projects across a distributed, cross-functional team both internally and with clients
Collaborating with internal teams to develop messaging to senior stakeholders. • Building and maintaining implementation toolkit to achieve efficiencies and scalability.
Managing risks pre-emptively, while using metrics to drive projects forward.
Escalating risks to Strategic Program Managers
Building and maintaining relationships, and creating trust with mainly internal stakeholders
Managing internal stakeholders and driving internal teams in process-oriented problem solving to agree optimal solutions.
Teaching and mentoring project management skills to peers.
What You’ll Need:
The ideal candidate will have 4-8 years of project management or consulting experience, preferably with a background in finance or technology.
Experience and domain knowledge of any of the functions in investment operations like Accounting, Middle office and Treasury is highly preferred.
Demonstrable ability to manage expectations and influence key stakeholders at all levels of an organization, including executive and C-level.
This individual must be an organized, process-oriented problem-solver who can multi-task and manage competing interests.
Proficiency with project governance and experience in delivering successful client solutions is a must.
Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Strong PowerPoint and Excel skills are mandatory. Experience in data modeling is a plus.
Strong interpersonal skills and be able to present to and persuade senior staff to engage with key initiatives and process improvements.
Thriving in a fast paced, deadline-driven team environment, while having a “roll up your sleeves” attitude is critical.
