Role Description The Aras PLM Lead/Architect is a full-time on-site role based in Hyderabad, responsible for leading the design, implementation, and optimization of Aras PLM solutions for enterprise clients. This role involves gathering and analyzing business requirements, defining PLM architecture, and translating functional needs into scalable technical designs aligned with organizational standards. The individual will oversee software development activities within Aras PLM, including configuration, customization, and integration with ERP and other enterprise systems. Daily responsibilities include collaborating with cross-functional teams, managing project deliverables and timelines, and ensuring adherence to quality, security, and performance best practices. The Aras PLM Lead/Architect will also guide and mentor technical teams, contribute to solution roadmaps, and support continuous improvement of PLM processes.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Architecture and Architectural Design skills, with experience defining scalable, secure PLM solutions.
- Candidates should possess hands-on Software Development skills, including configuration, customization, and scripting within Aras PLM or similar platforms.
- Candidates should possess Integration skills, with experience connecting PLM solutions to ERP, CAD, and other enterprise applications.
- Candidates should possess Project Management skills, including planning, coordination, stakeholder communication, and delivery oversight.
- Experience as an Aras PLM lead or architect, including end-to-end implementation of PLM solutions in complex environments.
- Strong understanding of product lifecycle management concepts, engineering change processes, and related enterprise workflows.
- Excellent communication, documentation, and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with technical and business stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field; relevant PLM or Aras certifications are a plus.
- Experience working in consulting or multi-industry environments, and familiarity with Oracle-based ecosystems is beneficial.
