Role Description
We are seeking experienced AR / Sr. AR Executives with strong expertise in US Healthcare Medical Billing. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing outstanding accounts receivable, resolving denials, pursuing timely reimbursements, and driving revenue recovery through effective follow-up and root-cause analysis.
Key Responsibilities
- Follow up on outstanding claims with US insurance companies to ensure timely reimbursement.
- Investigate and resolve claim denials, rejections, underpayments, and unpaid claims.
- Prepare and submit appeals, reconsiderations, and supporting documentation as required.
- Analyze denial trends and identify opportunities for process improvement.
- Work AR aging reports and prioritize high-value and aging accounts.
- Verify claim status through payer portals, clearinghouses, and insurance representatives.
- Maintain accurate documentation of follow-up activities and claim outcomes.
- Collaborate with billing, coding, and payment posting teams for issue resolution.
- Meet productivity, quality, and collection targets.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 1–5 years of experience in Accounts Receivable (AR) – RCM
- Strong understanding of the end-to-end Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) process.
- Hands-on experience with Commercial, Medicare, Medicaid, and Managed Care payors.
- Good knowledge of denial management, appeals, and payment variance analysis.
- Familiarity with payer portals, EOBs, ERAs, and claim status workflows.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and Google Sheets.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment with minimal supervision.
- Stable internet connectivity and dedicated work-from-home setup required.
- Graduate preferred.
