Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an Aquaculture Graduate located in the Greater Kolkata Area. Responsibilities include assisting in farm management, conducting field research, monitoring aquaculture practices, and ensuring the implementation of sustainable processes. The role involves analyzing farm performance data, supporting the operation and maintenance of aquaculture systems, and collaborating with farmers to improve productivity and traceability. The candidate will also contribute to projects aimed at optimizing supply chain operations and fostering sustainable aquaculture practices.
Qualifications
- Knowledge in aquaculture systems, farm management, and sustainable aquaculture practices
- Field research and data analysis skills related to aquaculture performance and operations
- Understanding of supply chain management and traceability within the aquaculture sector
- Strong collaboration and communication skills for working with farmers and stakeholders
- Proficiency in using technology or tools relevant to aquaculture data management
- Ability to manage time effectively and adapt to on-site working conditions
- Bachelor's degree in Aquaculture, Marine Biology, Fisheries Science, or a related field
- Prior experience or internships in aquaculture-related projects would be an added advantage
