Your Role
- Lead Plant production readiness activities for new program introduction
- Represent Mfg Plant in Project Team meeting (including pre-build, producibility reviews, etc.)
- Ensure the Mfg Plant is adequately represented in Project Team meetings, DFM activities, DFMEA/PFMEA activities, peer reviews, design reviews, project reviews , APQP and other critical activities, as appropriate
- Primary point of contact between Project Team and Operations for production readiness activities
- Ensure Plant Production Readiness Support needs are identified and filled, and responsibilities are clear to the Project Team, including the communication strategy between the Program Manager and Mfg Plant.
- Ensure Mfg Plant adherence to the overall project schedule
- Lead the proper escalation of critical Mfg Plant issues that threaten launch
- Conduct pre-build review at Mfg Plant (production readiness review)
- Ensure timely completion of all Mfg Plant build and associated obligations
- Through escalation ensure management has adequate awareness of critical production readiness issues
Your Background
Key ingredients for succeeding in this role are your:
- B.E. / B. Tech / M.E. / M. Tech in Electricals/Electronics/Manufacturing with an experience of 5- 10years
- Prior Work Experience in New Product Development , Supplier Quality, Process Quality. Prior Program Launch Experience required (min. of 2 launches)
- Candidate from Electrical and Electronics Manufacturing background preferred
- Self Motivated / Results Oriented. Demonstrated Leadership and Team Building Skills. Excellent Communication Skills, Both Oral and Written (English)
- Good Problem- Solving Skills. Able to Work with All Levels of the Organization
- Attention to Detail and Effective Follow-Up
- Passionate About Customer Satisfaction
- Demonstrated Understanding of Business Systems and Tools
- Good Understanding of Quality System. FMEA Knowledge and Experience
- Knowledge of Microsoft Project and Program Management Tools. Knowledge of Product Development Process
