Job Description
We are looking for an experienced iOS/tvOS Developer with strong expertise in Swift and a deep understanding of Apple TV app development. The ideal candidate should be proficient in UIKit, AVKit, AVFoundation, and tvOS-specific frameworks and have hands-on experience in video streaming, DRM, and UI customization.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain high-performance tvOS applications.
- Design and implement UI/UX using Auto Layout, UI Collection View Compositional Layout, and custom UI components.
- Integrate and optimize video streaming (HLS, DRM, MPEG-DASH) and media playback functionalities.
- Work with TVMLKit and TVUIKit for Apple TV app development.
- Implement remote control handling, focus-based navigation, and gesture-based interactions.
- Optimize code for performance, memory management, and debugging using Xcode tools.
- Integrate Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics for performance monitoring and crash reporting.
- Manage offline data storage using Realm and CoreData.
- Handle TestFlight distribution and App Store submission processes.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in Swift with deep knowledge of tvOS frameworks.
- Experience in UIKit, AVKit, AVFoundation for multimedia applications.
- Expertise in DRM-protected video streaming technologies (HLS, MPEG-DASH, FairPlay DRM, etc.).
- Hands-on experience with TVMLKit and TVUIKit for Apple TV apps.
- Strong UI/UX development skills, including Auto Layout and custom UI components.
- Understanding of focus-based navigation, Siri remote controls, and gesture handling.
- Knowledge of performance tuning, memory profiling, and debugging tools.
- Experience with Firebase Analytics, Crashlytics, and remote logging tools.
- Familiarity with Realm and CoreData for data persistence.
- Experience in TestFlight distribution and App Store submission processes.
Preferred Skills (Nice To Have)
- Exposure to SwiftUI for modern UI development.
- Knowledge of machine learning models for video recommendations.
- Experience with third-party video SDKs and APIs.
