Role Overview for Director of Engineering: As the Director of Engineering at AppsForBharat, you'll lead our dynamic engineering team in building innovative software solutions. Key Responsibilities: Development and Implementation: Drive the creation and execution of scalable, high-performance systems that meet industry standards and company requirements. Leadership and Mentorship: Lead and manage the engineering team, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to foster a collaborative and productive environment. Collaboration: Work closely with product, design, and other cross-functional teams to define technical requirements, deliver innovative solutions, and ensure alignment with company goals. Team Building: Build and manage engineering, infrastructure, QA, and data teams; handle hiring, training, and professional development. Scaling for Growth: Establish a solid foundation to support rapid growth in users, event volume, efficiency, and latency. Requirements: Experience: Minimum of 8 years in software development, with at least 3-4 years in a leadership role. Expertise: Proven experience in building and scaling B2C/D2C consumer products, from 0-100 million ARR or 0-20 million DAUs. Startup Experience: Experience working in a fast-paced, rapidly growing startup environment. Technical Skills: Proficiency in software development methodologies, programming languages, and cloud computing platforms. Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and manage high-performing engineering teams.
