Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Apprentice role located in New Delhi with Why Waste Wednesdays Foundation. The Apprentice will be involved in organizing and supporting community-based sustainability initiatives, conducting research, planning events, and engaging with local communities to promote Zero Waste practices. Responsibilities will also include supporting day-to-day operations, contributing to social media and communications strategies, maintaining project databases, and collaborating with team members to achieve the foundation's goals.
Qualifications
- Skills in research, data collection, and analysis
- Event coordination and project planning abilities
- Community engagement and public speaking skills
- MS Office Profiency. AI tools is an added advantage
- Proficiency in social media management and content creation
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- A commitment to sustainability and environmental causes
- Bachelor's degree
- Basic knowledge of sustainability concepts and the UN SDGs is an advantage
