Application Tester / QA Engineer (Manual + Basic Automation)
Experience: 0 – 4 Years
Location: Onsite – Fort Mumbai.

About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented Application Tester who can ensure the quality and reliability of web and mobile applications. You will be responsible for identifying bugs, improving product quality, and working closely with developers to deliver stable releases.


Key Responsibilities

- Perform manual testing of web and mobile applications
- Understand requirements and create test cases, test scenarios, and test plans
- Identify, document, and track bugs using tools like Jira or similar
- Perform functional, regression, and usability testing
- Collaborate with developers to reproduce and resolve issues
- Conduct API testing using tools like Postman
- Participate in release testing and validation
- Maintain test documentation and reports


Required Skills

- Basic understanding of Software Testing concepts (STLC, SDLC)
- Knowledge of manual testing techniques
- Familiarity with bug tracking tools (Jira, Trello, etc.)
- Basic understanding of APIs and tools like Postman
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail


Good to Have

- Basic knowledge of automation tools (Selenium, Playwright, Cypress)
- Understanding of mobile app testing (Android/iOS)
- Knowledge of SQL for database validation
- Exposure to performance testing basics


Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science / IT or related field (or equivalent practical experience)
