Role Description
This is a full-time on-site position for an Application Test Engineer located in Tirchy, Tamil Nadu. The role involves designing, writing, and executing test cases to evaluate application functionality and performance. Responsibilities include conducting thorough application testing, collaborating with software developers to identify and resolve issues, and ensuring high-quality software releases by adhering to quality assurance standards. The Application Test Engineer will work closely with cross-functional teams to support software development life cycles and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in creating and managing test cases, and conducting thorough application testing
- Strong background in testing methodologies and software quality assurance practices
- Basic knowledge of or experience in software development processes
- Detail-oriented with problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze and debug technical issues
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working within cross-functional teams
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is preferred
- Experience in enterprise software testing and workforce management applications is a plus
