Job Summar
yWe are looking for an Application Support Engineer with experience in Java-based applications and RESTful APIs to support production systems. The candidate will be responsible for monitoring applications, troubleshooting API issues, supporting integrations, and ensuring system stability
.Key Responsibilitie
- sProvide L2/L3 production support for applications built using Java and RESTful APIs
- .Monitor application health, logs, and API performance to ensure system availability
- .Troubleshoot API integration issues using tools such as Postman
- .Analyze API response codes (200, 400, 401, 404, 500 etc.) to identify root causes
- .Investigate and resolve production incidents and service requests
- .Perform log analysis and debugging to diagnose application errors
- .Work with development teams to fix defects and deploy solutions
- .Support API integrations between internal and external systems
- .Document incident resolution steps and knowledge articles
- .Participate in release deployments and production validations
.Required Skill
- sStrong knowledge of Java-based applications
- .Experience working with RESTful APIs and API integrations
- .Hands-on experience with Postman for API testing and validation
- .Understanding of HTTP methods (GET, POST, PUT, DELETE)
- .Knowledge of API response codes and error handling
- .Ability to perform root cause analysis and troubleshooting
- .Familiarity with SQL queries and log analysis
- .Good understanding of production support processes
.Preferred Skill
- sExperience with microservices architecture
- .Knowledge of monitoring tools such as Splunk, Grafana, or Kibana
- .Familiarity with ticketing tools like ServiceNow or Jira
- .Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes
.Soft Skill
- sStrong analytical and troubleshooting skill
- sGood communication and documentation abilitie
- sAbility to work in 24/7 support environments if require
